When one of the products that you are selling is yourself,
then looking your best in your promotional material and/or website is
essential. As a former musician myself, I understand the needs of performers and
entertainers to project an "image." Our high-end digital system
allows you to see the results immediately to make sure we capture that image
just the way you want it.
Prices below include
the right to use and reproduce the photos for any not-for-direct-profit purpose (i.e. virtually all promotional
uses... flyers, posters, advertisements, etc.) This allows you to use your
home scanner/printer to produce handouts as-needed, at a considerable savings...
even over bulk prints.
Inflation-buster guarantee: Come back within 13 months for an update of your promo portrait and I will guarantee you the same service at the same price.

Studio Portraits
Basic Studio Portraits are generally shot against a neutral (white, black or grey) solid backdrop, which can be lit to provide a more varied background. A special digital "ChromaKey" backdrop may be used to allow for inserting other images in the background or to match other images in your literature or web site (see Image Preparation below).
A CD-ROM is provided at no charge containing 1) A finished high-resolution image of your choice (with basic retouching), and 2) proofs of all photos shot during the session for the customer to review before ordering prints or further retouching. Delivery of the finished image may be delayed until the client has had an opportunity to review the proofs.

Sitting Fee: |

Headshot only: $75 for up to 30 minutes of shooting and retouching time. |

Multiple poses: $100 for up to 1 hour of studio shooting. $50 for each additional hour in the same session. No limits on poses, number of frames shot, etc. |

Image Preparation: |
|
Basic retouching for image flaws and minor blemishes is done at no additional charge. Special retouching will rarely be necessary. When it is, it is based on estimated labor at $25 - $50 per hour and is firmly quoted based on your requirements before it is performed. |

Non-glossy "Club posters": $5 for up to 11 x 17, $10 for up

Location Photography
Portraits shot on location must be preceded by a personal consultation with the photographer at that location. (There is no charge for this service within Metro Denver.) Any special needs or expenses will be determined at that time, but generally such shoots can be done for the costs listed under Studio Portraits above, plus the following surcharges.

| Equipment Fees: |
No charge for natural lighting or on-camera fill-flash. |

$25 for single studio flash and bounce (suitable for most portraits of 1 to 3 people). |

For a limited time, as a special offer to performing artists, for anyone purchasing a full studio or location shoot I will do a special "candid" shoot during a performance of your act (this may be a regular public performance or one that you "stage" especially for this purpose). I'll provide web-ready images on CD-ROM and the rights to use them under the same terms as your other photos (see above). THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE OR THE RESULTING CD-ROM!!!
