Casual and Family Portraits
All portrait sessions may be preceded by a personal
consultation with the photographer either by phone or at the studio, at no
additional charge. We will do our best to make your experience and the
resulting photo exceed your expectations.
Unless otherwise specified, all portrait sessions are shot on high-end digital equipment, which allows you to see the results immediately, at the time that we shoot, to be sure that we have captured the image that you want!
Studio Portraits
Basic Studio Portraits are generally shot against a neutral
(white, black or grey) solid backdrop, which can be lit to provide a more varied
background. You are welcome and encouraged to include personal items, pets
(well-behaved and housebroken only, please) or anything else that will make your
portrait unique and special. The number of people in the photo is not
limited (...within reason, I've done up to 40, and there was room for more).
A CD-ROM containing proofs of all photos shot during the session is provided at no charge, for the customer to review before ordering prints.
Sitting Fee: $100 for first hour, $50 per additional hour of same session. Almost all studio portrait shoots can be accomplished within 1 hour.
Image Preparation: Basic retouching for image flaws and minor blemishes is done at no additional charge. Special retouching is based on estimated labor at $25 per hour and is firmly quoted before it is performed.
Print costs: Click here for print costs. A wide variety of printable products are available, many of which you may customize with text, clip art, backgrounds, multiple photos per print, etc.
Location (including Home) Portraits
Portraits shot on location must be preceded by a personal consultation with the photographer at that location. (There is no charge for this service within Metro Denver.) Any special needs or expenses will be determined at that time, but generally such shoots can be done for the costs listed under Studio Portraits above, plus the following surcharges.
