"No-Frills" Wedding Photography

If you are looking for quality wedding photography on a limited budget, or if you simply aren't interested in purchasing a large package of expensive prints and albums (which we do offer as an option), then our No-Frills Wedding Photography service may be just what you are looking for.

You get all the same basic, high-quality photos that any Wedding Specialist would shoot... the Rehearsal, the Bride and Groom's Preparations, the Ceremony, Wedding Party Portraits, the Reception, and any other special moments you would like to capture. It's all your choice and under your control.

However, rather than requiring you to purchase an expensive "package" of services and prepaid prints, our service is offered strictly on a "for-hire" basis.

This means that you only pay for the photographer's time, and only for the amount of time that you need a photographer to be present.

It also means that you receive the "digital negatives" and that you can make as many prints as you like whenever or wherever you'd like. (We offer very reasonably priced custom printing services, as well as on-line photofinishing and print ordering as completely optional services for your convenience.)

We typically shoot 50-100 pictures per hour and only edit to remove seriously flawed or identical shots. This means you get very complete coverage of your event and many memories to treasure for a lifetime.

We shoot high-end (10.2 Megapixel) digital using the best professional equipment and lighting. We provide you with all full-resolution images on CD-ROM (or, if you prefer, on DVD-ROM) which includes a convenient web-style photo browser. (Click here to see a sample of the CD Photo Album Browser.) You are also welcome to reproduce this disk for your family and friends, or to have us do so for you.

Offer your guests a "Wedding Gift!"

After shooting your formal portraits, we would be happy to shoot studio-quality portraits of your wedding guests and make them available on our on-line photofinishing service. Remember, we are there to shoot whatever you want.

Pricing:

The basic fee for our No-Frills Wedding Photography service is a $180 reservation/booking fee (payable in advance) plus $90 for each hour that the photographer is in attendance at your event. This begins at the time agreed upon for the photographer's scheduled arrival and ends at a time either mutually agreed upon in advance or when the photographer is dismissed. This includes travel time between venues, such as from the church to the reception.

There is a minimum total charge of $900 per wedding (including the reservation fee and any optional travel, equipment and rehearsal coverage fees, as described below). The $900 minimum fee is sufficient to cover almost all weddings we shoot along the Colorado front range.

Additional fees that may apply (as part of the $900 minimum) are as follows...

Travel Fees:		NO CHARGE for events in Southwest and South Central Metro Denver (including Lakewood, Littleton, Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village, Englewood, Sheridan, Highlands Ranch and parts of Castle Rock).
		$90-$180 for remainder of Metro Denver and Castle Rock.
		Other locations, based on per-hour travel time. Call for quote.


Equipment Fees:		NO CHARGE for natural/available lighting or on-camera fill-flash.
		$180 for studio flash at your location (highly recommended for quality custom portraits).
		Additional necessary equipment costs will be quoted at the consultation (see below).

Preparation:

Whenever possible, the photographer should attend the wedding rehearsal, and will discuss at that time the shooting of the ceremony as well as any other special photos or requirements. There is a flat $90 charge for this service (included as part of the $900 minimum fee). Unless otherwise requested, photos will be taken of the rehearsal and included in the delivered package at no additional charge.

However, depending upon the scheduling of the rehearsal and other commitments of the photographers' time, attending the rehearsal may not always be possible. If this is the case, we will will be happy to arrange another time to meet at the location(s) of the event to discuss these matters as necessary.
